Nice bike Dave! Can you talk about your impressions of the quality. What does the bike look like from the front underneath? How thick is the downtube? Did you assemble it yourself? What were the BB threads like? How easily does the boom insert and move? How much does it weigh as it sits there?

please tell me you're going to put some real aerobars on that wicked frame.

Down tube surprisingly does not measure uniformly. The Headtube is 1.41" (11.75" long), the downtube, narrows to 1.35" and then widens out at the BB it is about 1.45 (I think, I forgot). at its narrowest its 4.52" if you measure on the horizontal its 5.55"

No I did not assemble it myself, I actually met the previous owner in a parking lot so he left it fully assembled. Can't tell you about the BB threads.

This bike is a 2000 he used it on part of 1 endurance race (He got hurt and stopped racing) the bike has sat in the basement since. The Tube does not slide easy. I sprayed Dry Moly lube in there and it helps but it seems as that dries it creates some thickness that makes it not slide as easy. Of course maybe you really dont want it sliding to easy.

Oh ya I will have to weigh it later, I forgot that one. I wonder how heavy those SPOX wheels are?

Another surprise, I can find no serial number or any kind of markings on this bike, that surprised me.
