Moving position to a new bike
Having worked on my position I wondered what the best methodology is to make sure I can replicate it on another bike then move it across.

Guessing measuring stack, reach etc is the way to go. Though geometry charts seem to measure in differently making comparisons not always the easiest.

I just take a few measurements with a measuring tape:
- saddle height (measure where you want just allow for different crank lengths)
- saddle setback from bottom bracket (I would use the same saddle for this part before swapping saddles which may need the saddle to be moved fore/aft)
- front of saddle to arm pads (using point above about setting up with the same saddle)
- front of saddle to end of aero bars (as above use the same saddle)
- handlebar drop relative to top of saddle

Get all this right before swapping components.
