Moving computer further out along bars with BTA/Z4-A2.... talk to me
Quote | Reply
My biggest complaint with the Z4-A2 combo besides the occasional leak is the placement of the computer on top of the bottle. I have to look down to see any info. I'd love something like on the Xlab torpedo mount further out front but don't want to have to spend $100 (or $150 for versa) just to solve this issue if I don't have to.

I've tried the profile design mount but to get it high enough on the bars it interferes with my grip. Any other options?

I once used an old stem faceplate, zip tied to each extension and with a garmin mount on it using the standard garmin o-rings. Works great if you don't need the stem...

I did a similar thing, I used a stem mount (which is useless) and mounted it to a bracket I made

Did you make the whole bracket or you just did the modification?

BTW, it looks good.

Thanks. I made it myself, I'm lucky to have access to a little workshop at work

This was the start of mark 1, the bracket fitted is mark 2

Profile Design aero bridge. It's only $20. TriSports had them. It works great for me.
