Met him once but saw him race a few times. I knew of his record and reputation, before meeting him, but usually save opinion until actually meeting someone.

It's says his ban started as of January 30, 2012. So he is really only suspended for 3 months?

That's a funny thought because Joe seems (not that I know him at all) so even keeled.

This is a good thing, and as one who could race in the 50+ class this year, part of the reason I have chosen not to race long stuff is the feeling, real or imagined, that some of the guys doing well are on something to help train more and recover better. I figure at least in training for and racing shorter stuff the peds don't help them any more than my pre-race frappe. ( please don't tell me if that's not true!)

Joe truly is what he seems and more. His wife is such a sweet woman too I think they are both outstanding people. Last I heard he was having some serious back issues and perhaps surgery?.....is he on the road to racing again?

You might look at Moats inner circle, we suspected others of doing drugs. Some are age group winners. I would like to see all age winners tested.Some will do anything for that Kona slot

Well...I'm not surprised he was on T, but I'm surprised he didn't bother to obtain a TUE--since it seems they're pretty easy to get.

He is on the start list for IMFL. Guess he's going to miss that one.
