Did a lifeguard competition this weekend in St. Joseph MI.
It was a fund raiser for the Great Lakes Surf Rescue Project and the ARC Project.
5 EVENTS
1. Beach run 800m
2. Open water swim 300m
3. Run-Swim-Run 300m of each leg
4. Beach Flags
5. Swim/Run//Prone Paddle/SUP 300m of each leg
Each event is done in heats with a final - although there was not enough participants this year so only the last event was done with a final.
Super fun and highly recommended.
It will be held in Grand Haven MI next year. Look for it, or a lifeguard challenge in your area.
