New job, big pay raise, first check, zero debt, money burning in pocket, spouse approval, time for THOUSANDS in multisport goodies/wish list.

Six very specific, thoughtfully brief "Contact Us" e-mail inquiries (or direct online messages) to four different multisport-related manufacturers.

Two weeks later, two automatically generated "We have received your inquiry and will respond..." e-mails. To date, zero e-mail or phone responses.

I feel bad for your direct online sales. I feel bad for your online retailers. I feel bad for your local retailers. You spent all that money to set up distribution channels, effectively marketed to me, got me to seek you out directly, and then leave me hanging?

What's wrong with me that I am feeling bad for YOU?

You know those funny signs on front doors of business establishments that read, "These doors to remain unlocked during business hours"?

Find an online equivalent.
