Hard to say. The last 2 years the race has been in March and it barely made the cutoff. Oct 25th could swing it either direction. That being said, it's the pacific and you never know where the RD will measure the temp to get an ideal reading...

I did it last year. Like the other poster said, it was just barely wetsuit legal. I'm not sure what the temps might be with the new date, but I would plan to pack a wetsuit and swimskin just in case. I was glad I had a sleeveless and not a full sleeve last year.
