I think you would have much better luck with March. Tucson and Clermont seem to be pretty popular from Jan-March. April not so much.

If you can't find a camp, maybe just head to a pretty nice location and get in some good training.

Tucson will be warming up
California has some excellent riding
Clermont is also a good area

But if you can swing March, you will find alot more camps.

There are a lot of athletes coming in early for IMTX. You are more than welcome to come swim with the team and I can introduce you around to the other athletes training for IMTX. Also, I’m putting on a 1250m/2.5k/5k Open Water Swim on April 14 in Lake Conroe.

Any questions, please let me know.

Up here in CA I have a Swedish camp the last couple weeks of March, so might not work, but then mid April I have a 10 day German camp. Have to check with each coach if there is room though, but both guys world class and we expect to get in some good quality high altitude miles..PM me if you need more info, or anyone else for that matter..

Helen, GA - first week in April - http://www.hfpracing.com/teamhfp/training.htm

Lots of climbing. We had snow at the top of a climb last year, but have also enjoyed numerous sunny days in the 70s over the past half dozen years.
