Liability Insurance for Online Coaches in Canada?
The governing bodies have liability insurance for certified coaches that covers them when coaching athletes in person. What I can't figure out is, do those coaches that offer online program management have liability insurance. It would seem a tenuous situation to go forward professionally without it. I know waivers are signed but is that really enough in this day and age?

I'm getting insurance through Philadelphia Insurance through IDEAfit until I can get my USAT license (limited classes and locations). They are a worldwide organization so I suspect they have insurance for Canadians. It was reasonably priced.

Thanks. Does your USAT insurance cover you for liability related to online coaching?

I have been advised that the answer is 'no'. The Triathlon Ontario insurance does not cover a coach for online program management. That's why I'm curious to know how coaches north and south of the border handle this.
