Lazer Tardiz or Giro Air Attack?? Which is faster?
I am going to be doing my last race of the season at the Osprey Sprint tri in Maryland and have a dilemma of which helmet to wear. Temperature has no effect on my decision. I just recently picked up a Giro Air Attack for draft legal racing and am wondering if it is faster than the Lazer Tardiz that I currently have.I always assumed the longer tail made it faster than the Air Attack. Feel free to prove me wrong.

I would put my money on the Tardiz.

Depends on head position, but unless the Tardiz's tail is sticking waaay up (i.e you ride seriously head down) it will be faster.

You would have to ride like this (below) to consider the AA:

The Tardiz would have to fit you and your position very poorly for it to be slower than the Air Attack. The one absolute I've learned with all our aero testing? You got it...there are no absolutes. I can't count the number of time I've guessed wrong.
