Lance position and equipment...
the caption said hes working on his position----and thats cool, but in this pic is it me or is Lance really far out there on the bars, also notice the bars are VT and cut down 188's. Nothing against his position (cause hes the cycling God) but its interesting to me that he still plays around on his TT position, also its tough to tell but it looks as if his back is a lot flatter than usual---i remember seeing tour pics where his back is fairly rounded in his TT position. Just some observations....

That position doesn't look very comfortable, although he is smiling. He seems to be stretched out towards the front. This would cause tired back muscles. Maybe that's what position he is working on. He probably is pissed off after losing a TT last year. Either that or it's early season and he is just getting loose.

Somebody had better tell that Lance guy that he's doing it all wrong.

Cobb has kind of nifty aero animation on his website. This could be what he's getting at.

If the whole picture was there you would see that "roundness" in his back. He had back surgery a while back, NPI, and his vertebrae cause that
