Lake Placid / contact / lodging
Hello,

Anyone has a contact in Lake Placid / Wilmington area who would rent his small home, cottage, condo, etc ? Not looking for anything fancy. We are 2 adults and 2 small kids on a budget. July 19th to 24th.

Scrolled VRBO, but thought I'd give a try here. Might also swap my home in Quebec, country lakeside cottage, located an hour east of Montreal, Quebec.

Cheers !

Hi,
I'm the volunteer director for IMLP - Here is a link to our frequently updated lodging availability spreadsheet:

We are also still looking for run aid station volunteers, so if you know anyone who wants to volunteer, send them our way! Here's the signup link:

Thanks and good luck!

This one is available for $350 per night, which is about as cheap as you'll get in that area for Ironman week. Unfortunately!

Here's one for $225

And $265

Good luck!

Most of the hotels have some availability, due to cancellations. I shopped around and got a good rate last week. Ignore what the likes of hotels.com tell you and just call places directly to inquire.

This is golden information. Do you do this spreadsheet each year? And if so, where is the go-to spot to find it each year?

Probably more than you're looking to spend, but I have a room with 2 queen beds available at the closest hotel to transition. $1200, 5 nights.

Yes, we do. We will also have one for the new 70.3 race on September 10th.
