Roughly how much is a cab from the airport to Ali Drive for me and my bike (in a bag)? Plus, I'm assuming they are relatively easy to get, i.e just hanging out at the airport and don't need to be scheduled.

It's about $25 for a cab from the airport to town, and the cabs are plentiful.
You can also check with your hotel about shuttles that may be less expensive.

$25-$30 from the airport to the pier.
Cabs are plentiful, rental cars are outrageously expensive.

They are pretty expensive I thought. Last time, the cab only accepted cash. You'll be best off walking up to someone to see if they want to split a cab to town with you.

Thanks for the info guys. $25 seems reasonable to me.

way more than $25. Count on $40+ without tip

If you're getting charged $40+ from the airport to the King Kam/Uncle Billy's area of Alii Drive, you shouldn't tip because you're getting screwed. I've made that trip dozens of times, and I've never been charged anywhere near that much.

This sounds a little more accurate. $40. I know it is crazy high/expensive. If you know someone going with a car, have them pick you up & then tip them $15 for the ride & a beer after the race.
