KASK Mojito or aero helmet
Hi

I have been racing with a KASK Mojito helmet for the last two seasons on my TT bike but have seen an increase of competitors in aero helmets, do you think they give much of an advantage or not really worth the upgrade?

Many thanks
Paul

Yes most definitely. Probably more than aero wheels. I train in a mojito and it's no aero demon

I've got a Mojito sitting here on my desk at work. The helmet, not the drink (regrettably). I love this helmet but I wouldn't race in it. There are potentially other things you might concentrate on before changing your helmet, if you haven't already. But if you are already sorted for position, clothes, tyres then yes an aero helmet is worth some thought.

Last season switched from a KASK Mojito to a Lazer Wasp Air that I got at a great discount. I think I gained about 1 kph of average speed with the same perceived effort and average HR (don't have a powermeter yet) with that single change. Definitely recommend it - "free" speed :)

Back in the old days, the order was aerobars, aerohelmet, then aero front wheel. The focus on position wasn't as strong then. tribonzai.com used to had a cool calculator, but it's been gone for years.
