Intervals: road vs trainer
we all know the realities that open roads where we can hammer for 20 uninterrupted minutes at a time are hard to find, but in the event that I do have access to an uninterrupted stretch, is there any advantage/disadvantage to road over trainer intervals?

Yes.
  1. Handling skills.
  2. Better cooling because of the amount of air moving over you means you can usually ride at a higher intensity outside.
