There is a 8 mile paved road that encircles the entire island, mostly flat but some great scenery. You can also take some roads into the interior of the island, you will get some good climbing going to the center of the island, once again great scenery.

You will have no problems finding the loop, just follow the horses.

Beautiful place to run and bike. the outer loop is right along the water for much of the way and you cna do hill repeats running up to the Grand hotel.

I grew up in Traverse City too (actually closer to Suttons Bay) but the economy is so bad in Michigan I'm moving to Colorado in July.

ahhh you live there now? I actually grew up in Elk Rapids but again,(and your right) the economy is really bad there. I went to CU Boulder so am famaliar with CO also.

Well, my parents live there now. I live in East Lansing, MI where I just graduated from law school. Thats why I'm going to CO in July, to take the bar. Now all, I need is a job and a place to live. And some money to make loan payments!

BUY FUDGE lots of it. Stop by TOM's place in Dearborn and drop it off. I will meet you there, we can eat fudge and I can get my Titanflex fit done. Fudge, ya that would motivate me to get my bike and butt into Dearborn, hmmm fudge.
