I just booked at theNest Western in Rohnert Park. A few miles from (short drive) from T2, Ironman Village.
Not a great hotel, not bad either. Price was right.

I did IM Santa Rosa last year and booked a cabin through airbnb. I highly recommend seeing what's available - having a kitchen and a hot tub was pretty sweet. We were about 30 mins from downtown Santa Rosa, but it worked out great.

I stayed at a Courtyard very close to the finish line/expo last year and it was clean and comfortable, well-located and had sufficient parking.
