IM Bahrain 70.3

So there more days until bahrain, suprise there is no excitement for this. Barring major midhaps the podium Will consist of bozzone, blummenfelt and gomez, but it should be an epic duel! Normally I’d day gomez and blu are far and ahead the rest, but bozzone has been on fire lately! Though, one question, he has raced ALOT lately - too much?

Anyway Im looking really forwards to it. Gomez would be the odds favourite, but BLU is a real strong contender! I Wonder if we’ll Get a blazing bike, or if they play it ITU-style and wait for the run? Bozzones chance is to smash the bike and hope blu/gomez start looking at eachother (though I dont think blu has that in him.. if he is able, he will follow!) unless the bike is crazy hard i bet we’ll see some really fast run times!(hopping for temps to drop into reasonable territory, or the run Will probably be affected by this)

Gomez.

On the women's side, I just hope Holly doesn't pull out after being passed by Ryf and see if she can keep up with her. Ryf still wins of course

I doubt Holly will pull the pin here, she is racing in front of her sponsors. A repeat of world champs will not do her any favours, unless she is screaming in pain...

Ryf is A given. Gomez would be the safer bet, but
I think alot og ppl Will be surprised at what blu can do! Im guessing blu Will go hard on the bike! I kinda think blu is the lionel sanders of ITU, judging by racing style:)

T. Bozzone sure does show a remarkable ability to recover extremely quickly between races and do well across an extremely wide variety of distances...

Will be very interested to see how he does.

HeÂ’s been wearing the vaporfly 4%. Wonder how much heÂ’s benefited from them.

Well - actually - the tri-version of vapourfly should obviously be named 0.75%, not 4%.

They're forecasting a solid NW wind during the race hours which ought to make for a distinct cross tailwind on the way out and cross headwind on the inbound leg of the bike. So if the media motos back off just a little bit it ought to be a very fair bike leg. I wish the time shift worked better for following it live here in the eastern USA.

Great! IÂ’ll gues gomez first to T1, blu and bozzone together. They catch gomez quickly and bozzone Hammers it on the bike. All three within 120sec to T2. Blu wins it by A long sprint the last K coming in 30 sec ahead of gomez, with a run 1:10 or just under. Bozzone 3rd with 1:13/1:14 run.

His range is incredible. When he gathers momentum, he enters beast mode. Bloody impressive.

Looks like Gome is letting Blu go. This is going to be interesting.

Holly is not in the lead anymore. In fact, she missed the 40Km marker. She's late. Mechanical? Accident? She's more than 5 minutes late.
