How to Remove Epoxy from a Carbon Frame
Does anyone have experience removing epoxy from a carbon frame? My LBS replaced by bottom bracket but there is epoxy residue on the frame and I can't get it off. Thanks

Why was epoxy used?
I would suspect that it is primer or threadlocker.

I used epoxy as just a general term. Very well could be what you mentioned below. I've tried heating it, rubbing alcohol, and even WD 40 but no luck

Epoxy is really vurnerable to UV

you can use any uv light bulb.
Apply uv light for consecutive days

Then it will become brown or yellow.
Epoxy polimer in that state Collapses easilly.

Stay home, stay healthy.

I'm pretty sure it won't be epoxy because if you use epoxy glue to put a bottom bracket in your frame it's there to stay forever and if your BB needs to be replaced, you won't be able to get it out anymore.

Which color is the residue? Pic might help.

I'd take it back to your LBS and have them fix it. I sure hope they didn't epoxy that bb in.
