How do you slowdown and turn?
I like to keep my left hand on the aero and reach to rear brake on the right.
Wondering if there is better way to handle the situation.

Thanks.

Do you leave the cockpit both arms at the same time or one arm at the time?
Thanks

On descents with bends that I don't know I can take without braking, I have my left arm in the aerobat position and my right hand on my front brake lever. (I think the front brake lever may be on the left in the US, so obi this would be reversed).

I move my hands one at a time unless I'm on a flat road with no potholes etc.

If you're planning to go hands-free while transitioning from aero position to the base bars, while setting up for a corner, it's probably worth practicing. Otherwise, one hand at a time seems like a safer bet. My thinking is that any turn you can do with one hand in the aero bars and the other on the basebar, you probably could have done without ever leaving aero. If you need to brake for a corner, get out of aero as late as possible, do your braking quickly and smoothly, and then get back into aero as you leave the corner. Practice, practice, practice. This is not something you can do on a trainer and it's why I find it hard to fathom that so many folks on this forum think they can do effective race preparation by doing 99% of their biking indoors, and then take their ride out on the street only one week before an event.

Less is more.

For me, always one at a time.

If you are braking, why do you care about staying in Aero? A little extra aero drag is going to help you slow down anyway.
