Help: Races not on our calendar

if you were to look on my user profile you'd see i have "personal" race calendar. you get that by "tagging" races on the slowtwitch race calendar. i note there are 2 triathlons i can't tag, because they aren't on our calendar. i've emailed the RDs and asked them to place the races on our calendar (at which point i can tag them and complete my calendar).

can you do me a favor and let us know what races are on your calendar, that is, you intend to race them, but they are not on our slowtwitch calendar? we'll then appeal to the RD for info so that we can complete our calendar for 2015.

But I'll admit my comfort with American geographic distinctions is weak. Are these races in the Northeast or Great Lakes? Am I confused by the old Northeast division in the NHL containing teams like Buffalo and Toronto? Probably.

on our calendar, on the left hand side, you'll see geographic groupings. if you click the + sign that expands and you see all the states/provinces listed in that region. ontario is in GREAT LAKES. this is what's in GREAT LAKES:

No, not one race organization. The Mayor's Triathlon in Ft Worth is put on by Trident Sports I believe. they put on several in the Ft Worth area.

TheTriWaco race was put on by Jack but is not his now since he retired, not sure who puts it on.

The San Angelo Triathlon is not a race that Jack had anything to do with although some people think that. It uses the same
body of water for the swim as Jack's old Wool Cap Tri. Here's a link

TriWaco is put on by the Waco Chamber of Commerce. Tri Dallas Events bought out Ironhead, but only put a few races on locally. Actually, you would never know they were in business here. Terrible website, races dont open for registration until about 45 days out, etc.
