First time on the big island this fall. Any suggestions from folks who have been out there about racing in an aero helmet vs road helmet? Choices are Rudy Project Wingspan or Lazer Genesis. Wasn't sure which would be better with the heat/humidity out there. Thanks!

I wore a Specialized Evade at Kona last year. Aero but with sufficient vents to get ice water directly over my head.
Go with a Kona-proven design:
Seriously though, you'll be fine w/the RP Wingspan. You can easily spray water through both the front port (leave the clip-on covers off), and the slots in the back. I've never found the helmet to be too hot.
