Head computer for stages PM.

I have a garmin 910xt and a stages. It will sync and zero out and when I sit up it sends and receives just fine. Then I get in my aero position it loses transmission every single time.

My stages works just fine with my phone when I strap it to my wrist and get in aero. It also works with my tacx/computer.

I am not super crazy about another big expense but right now my stages is pretty useless in a race.

So here are my questions:

I am leaning toward the garmin edge 510...

1. Ease of use: Is it easy to start up in a race situation. How do I go about doing that. Is it all done during transition or is there a QuickStart type thing.

2. Is it reliable. Will I be able to use it Extended in aero. I'm big (6'2, 175) and have a pretty aggressive position. I have a trek speed concept from last year. Is placement important?

3. Can I run my watch and the edge at the same time. I'll obviously make it so my watch won't find the stages, but is there any interference or anything weird like that?

Any other RELIABLE Orion's at that price point(ish)
