It's stated on the webpage that the "black tri suit is coated with “Coldblack®” which performs better in its resistance to heat from the sun than a white suit", and that there's "UPF 30 protection".

UPF isn't a concern for me, but how can a black suit be cooler than a white one on a day like IM Cd'A had or a standard day at Kona?
