I did a bastardized version of this and it worked. Be patient. You'll sweat. You'll sweat. But eventually you'll get it out.

thanks for the link to the video. hopefully I'm handy enough to pull that off. I don't see how this is going to be possible. I just got the extender right at the valve hole but can't figure out how to straighten it and slide it out

Try using the a piece of straightened coat hanger to manipulate it through the valve hole.

Just trying to understand how to avoid this with my Flo 90:

How did it happen? And how can one prevent this from happening?

My valve extender broke and the inner part came loose from the outer part. It pulled of the tube valve and i need to deflate the tube to get it off so I used the inner part of the extender to reach up into the fairing to push the valve and deflate the tube. Well I dropped the inner part of the extender into the fairing because it was too short

I got it out!!!! Thank the lord, that was a pain. Gotta trust the good old paper clip
