I'm sure there are still plenty that dislike Macca because of how brash he was, but I was always a fan. I had the great fortune of meeting him and his family, and having a casual dinner with him along with our coach and his good friend when he was in Cairns prepping for Kona in 2003. This interview that Bob Babbitt just put up is fantastic. He chronicles his career, talks about how naive and immature he was and discusses his rivalry with Stadler and Alexander. It's definitely worth a listen.
