Has anyone on ST ever done this swim before? This will be the fourth year for the event. I'm signed up for the 5K (apparently it's a bit more than 5K... 3.4ish). The 1.2 mile is the same swim as the IM 70.3.

yes it is a very easy swim, down river, very well supported and organized. Wetsuit authorized (river is cold). Stay in the middle there is more current. The same week end you'll also have tricoachGa training camp for Augusta HIM and ride for a reason on HIM route. If you go on Augusta 70.3 facebook page you'll be able to connect with people who did it before. I love the race, it's a very fun, local event. Hope you'll enjoy
