Garmin vector and FR920 in races
Using the 920 during the swim.
Do you just get on the bike and it connects or is there some recalibration needed?

It's been mentioned a while ago that the vectors shut down after some time not connected.
Just wanna know if that is kinda solved or a pita.

With the 910 I usually calibrate in transition the morning of the race (before the swim). Have yet to have an issue with it picking up on the ride.

I've used my 920 (and 520) with Vectors on several tri's this year and the Vectors turn on within a few seconds. I calibrated the Vectors the morning of the races and the data looked perfect.

Sounds like it works like it should be. Was a little between two PM but tending towards the vector 2s cause of 3 different bikes (with different chainring sizes) they easily could go.

Same as others here, I've calibrated before the race and then had no issues. The pedal pods wake up fairly quickly.
