I know the answer already......it depends. But GENERALLY what is going to be a faster set up for race day? A set of GP 4000 vs the Conti attack/force combo. Thanks!
You can rotate the GP4000S and it wears, so a big cost savings to keep the freshest (most aero) tire up front and rotate to the rear. With Attack/Force all you can do is replace both. TrainingBible Coaching http://www.trainingbible.com
Attack Force is 3 watts faster but that doesn't account for aero benefits...that said, if want the fastest option just go super sonic or turbo cotton.

I run an attack up front, and a GP4000s in the back... then I keep a spare GP4000S handy in case either one fail. Knock wood... I've had pretty good luck with no flats.
Attack/Force should be faster. Attack ~same Crr as GP4000s 23c but narrower so should have less CdA, I heard mounting it backwards improves the aero performance even more, maybe someone else will chime in on that and confirm. Force has less Crr than GP4k 23c. PSA, you can buy a A/F set here for $95 & free shipping. <We all know that light travels faster than sound. that's the kind of logic that'll get you branded a heretic around here. -------------------------- The secret of a long life is you try not to shorten it. -Nobody

I've got a buddy who does this. He's fast as hell, so even if it's not the best option it's not like I can say much about it!
If I used tubulars, that's what I'd put on the front. Crono on the back.
I use it as on the front disc in my track pursuit setup, and that's it. I'd be afraid to on almost any road. It makes the Supersonic look like a Gatorskin. I speculate that it'd instantly shred if you locked up a wheel just for a moment.
I see that bike24.de has Continental GP Force II and GP Attack II in stock, couldn't find anything at continental.de though. Just a slight update, like with GP4000S, or? The combo is also available, but as a non-II version. All are labeled as 2016 batch though.
True. But I like to at least consider flat protection as well.
What is your tolerance for flats? It has been over two years and like 30+ races on Supersonics since I have had a flat. In that time I have seen literally 100s if not thousands of flats.
Weird. Because even the Conti site has them as 22/24. Maybe some sites have taken it upon themselves to report true widths instead of those advertised, as Conti's never run true to size imo.
