Frodeno cheering on AGers
Anyone else saw this happening saturday?

My friend who was racing said he was constantly cheering on struggling AGers.
I thought it was truly awesome.

Well, he was running in a lot of pain and certainly pissed off. Still took the time to cheer on struggling AGers who were crossing him.

It'd be "normal" for him or any other top pro to do that after they finished their races, but during the race...

I would love for this to be true. No AGers would have passed him given the time differences so perhaps on his way back to town for the guys heading out? or that small section right before the finish where the athletes who just started the run are side by side with those in the last mile?

Christian Haupt, a fast AGer wrote this on FB:
"Einen Satz möchte ich noch zu Jan Frodeno loswerden. Auf dem Alii Drive habe ich ihm kurz etwas zugerufen. Im Energy-Lab hat er mich im Gegenzug angefeuert und das an einem seiner sicherlich schlimmsten Tage als Profi. Das zeigt, was er für ein großer Sportsmann er ist."

Which basically means:
"I said something to him on Alii Drive. Later in the energy-lab he cheered on me in return - on certainly one of his worst days as a pro. What a great sportsman"

More like he walked it faster than most of us can sprint it LOL!!!! Chapeau Frodo! Funny how we all forget about last year's champion. He's going to be on fire trying to bury Lange and Lionel next year!
