Free and comprehensive race calendar
I painfully built a race calendar, hoping that it can be FREE, mappable, searchable, mobile and anyone can add to. If you would like to add events let me know. I'm almost at 3,000 and I'll be making it an app this week. It also has OCR events in it as well. I've seen many triathletes, like myself (Ken Corigliano) transfer over and it's been a lot of fun.

It's at http://www.mudquarters.com/calendar.html

Please let me know what you think and be nice!

Neat idea! I've always wanted something like this. Perhaps you can add a filter option for race distance, sport, location (by state, city, xx mile radius) etc. How are you adding the races? Is it done manually?

Looks good. I can't figure out how to search, but it has a lot of even the more obscure events on it.

How is it different than trifind.com?

Big difference.

  1. Passive v active (I find events and event websites to put on here)
  2. No charge for anyone to put their event on here
  3. Portable, searchable, flexible, mobile and mapable

Since it is Google app driven, it can be used almost integrated uniformly with any other app.

Hope that helps.

Awesome, well you add it to your own calendar by subscribing to it. When you pull it up in calendar view there is a search feature.

Then search:

I'll work on filters, already thought of that, but need an engineer to link a database to the calendar, which is no small feat. You can search for 5k, 10k etc for now. Thank you!
