Fizik Tritone single bottle cage
Does anyone have a Fizik Tritone with a single bottle cage set-up? I don't like the original dual bottle cage set-up. Would like to see some pictures of your set-up.
Also does anyone have a Tritone mounted to a Felt IA?

Thanks!

Thanks, great ride!

Unfortunately I have a Felt IA and no Cervelo seatpost. Wanted to see a solution attached directly to the saddle rails...

x-lab makes a similar single bottle mount that attaches to the rails of the saddle.

Thanks, yes I know that one. I only wonder if it fits on a Tritone since the rails are so short and so much to the front. I also haven't seen anyone with a single cage zip-tied to a Tritone, probably since it doesn't work...

Would be great if you could snap a pic once. Wonder about the clearance with the seatpost. What bike are you riding?

I was just wondering this same thing the other day! I'm not crazy about the on-saddle set up either it makes mounting the bike a pain in the ass. I just saw Speedfil's new catalog last night (TriRig posted it on FB) and they have a new mount, I think the R3, that looks like maybe it would work.

We have had some experience with the Fizik Tritone and one of our pro athletes actually. She had a few things that jeopardized the fit of a single cage including front-mounted saddle position & having a Slice seat post that stuck out the back. She originally ziptied a cage to the saddle and the seat post, but she mentioned in Kona she was looking at other possibilities.

We will be outfitting her with our new system, the Delta 400. It fits great on the K:IUM rails. If you have the carbon braided rail model, you would need to purchase an extra hardware kit that is designed for mounting on carbon rails. Sorry for the blurry pic, but we haven't done 'official' photos for this saddle yet. This was from our compatibility testing, but does the job!

Great, this should do the job, exactly what I was looking for. Should be compatible with the Felt IA as well I guess.

I run three cages on mine.
The two on the sides,
and one zip tied to the rear CO2 mounting hole.

It looks pretty stupid, like a rigged up cage on an otherwise sweet, sexy machine.
But it wags water for me.

I've got one on Instagram, let me see if I can link it.
---edit---
Doesn't look like I'm intelligent enough to get the link directly off Instagram.
But, http://instagram.com/christopher_borden/
In Sept & Aug '14 are a few pictures of it.

That's the setup. There's a few more images on there too.
Pretty bad looking, but it camels the fluids just fine.

That is a very large seatpost but should fit. The arms wrap around the post nicely. Here is the Delta 400 with an IA seatpost, just different saddle. We can mock your setup if you would like, just need to see your saddle position on the seat post.

This looks perfect. I also have my rails pretty much all the way to the front. Looks like this is the product I need. Is there an option without cage as well? I already have two Gorilla cages.

Thanks

The Delta 400 has the Gorilla XT which is actually double the gripping force of a regular Gorilla to ensure there is no bottle launches. For a Delta 400 without a cage you would need to contact our customer service and see if they are able to sell you one without. I would send in a photo of your cages as well as they will most likely ask.

I'm just following this thread because I bought a Tritone today. I have a Super Wing on my current Fizik saddle & while I will try the cage & CO2 system that comes with the saddle, I can see myself wanting to eventually install the Super Wing on the back for longer rides or races. The one thing I'm curious about is that I ride a Blue Triad EX Di2 which has the external battery mounted on the back of the seat post. The Super Wing is perfect because it wraps around the battery & lets me tuck a Mezzo bag in there. I'm hoping the Tritone rails give me enough room to do the same thing.

Let us mock that up for you. We don't have a Di2 battery pack but we do have a Blue seatpost and can guage how much room that takes up. Our engineering dept is quite busy at the moment with some new product designs, but I will get them to set it up shortly. Stay tuned!

Here it is mocked up minus the battery pack. Looks like it will clear it. The silver rod in the picture is for stabilization, but the Super wing is such a solid, sturdy mount you could technically get away with not having it if you needed the space.

Thanks for the mock up Candice! That looks like it will work perfectly. I have it installed without the bar right now & it is still solid as a rock, so that's not a worry.

I just need to get some more loctite for the bolts & I will be good to go.

The irony is never lost on the fact that it's a red bike with BLUE plastered on the side! :)
