So now that I have had a few days to calm down and take it all in I have some questions....and observations. I won't be doing any bitching in this post. I did that in my other OBX post.
1st. I missed my goal by 30 min. Bad swim( no wet suit). Bad transition and a run that I struggled to hold any kind of pace. And penalties. For reference I used Chris Carmichael time crunched book plans. Works well for Olympic and Sprint but I Definitely need more volume. Which to be fair he says the books not great for 70.3.
2nd. Coaching. Was gonna try Matt Hanson or desert Dude but financially I decided to wait for a IM race to spend the money. I have also been fighting with a torn labrum in my shoulder.(3rd time😐). So I went at it alone. Not great results.
As for questions. How long will it take for my body to recover. Race was 3 days ago and my resting HR is still high and running is a joke!
I'm sure more questions will pop up but for now I am all ears. All help is welcomed.
