have spent the past few weeks trying to figure out my Plasma Premium's click/creak it was making under load. tried everything from seat tube, pedals, skewers, crank, chainring, etc... no luck. figured out tonight that the little access panel for the front derailleur cable was loose... who knew!!

Sometimes it's that easy........ Wish it would always be like that. Lol
I just found and fixed my bike's noise too: it was the little screws holding the spider onto the cranks, they had been assembled dry. Add a little Phil's Waterproof Grease and viola, blissfully quiet.

Update: fixing my first noise was only half the work. It turns out I had a second creak that I couldn't hear over the first: the rear skewer was slightly loose and that was causing a sound that was difficult to localize. Once I found it the fix was easy of course!
