Currently have a KK road machine and looking at getting a smart trainer... I would prefer a direct drive trainer and curious if anyone can provide any feedback on the feel of the Kickr or Tacx Neo compared to the Road Machine. I have ridden several wheel on smart trainers and have much preferred my Road machine.
I would appreciate any input.
I went from a KK RM to a KICKR. The KK probably feels better... it is just buttery smooth and seemed to replicate road resistance very well. However, the KICKR is excellent too. I do not think about it at all after a having it a few months. As excellent as the KK RM is, I do not miss it at all. The workout quality on the smart KICKR is a wholly different experience.
