So today, I swam at lunch.
There's a number of school groups who were also at the pool. Whilst getting changed in the men's changing rooms, some 9 to 10 year olds all pile in to get changed also. Their high voices are echoing against the concrete walls.
Anyway, whilst getting changed, I notice an older woman with 'staff' printed on a t-shirt walk casual as can be right through the men's changing rooms. I'm a bit puzzled and the boys look puzzled too. I ask one of them if that was their teacher. They say 'no'.
I think there were at least two different schools at the pools.
Then, a minute later, the same woman walks back through the changing rooms. She is pretty casual. I tell her that I think she is in the wrong changing rooms.
She tells me 'it's okay, I'm just accessing the outside". There is a 50m pool outside. The female changing rooms can be used to access the outside also. As can the indoor 25m pool area.
Was she just thick or just a dirty old woman?
