Dimples vs wide

I have 808s with the aluminum brake track and a wheel cover. Would a flo disc and 90 front be faster due to being wider? Or am I splitting hairs here.

Maybe a bit faster with the right tires. Let's not get started on that.

But measurably faster? Can't say yes to that.

I switched from a 404/900 disc to a Flo 90/disc not because they were faster, but so I could race in clinchers. May have picked up a watt or 3 at higher yaw. But may actually be slower in calm conditions. Oh and it cost me a few hundred grams.

No it will not be faster due to being wider.
It will *probably* be a little faster due to being shaped better, *if* you are running 23mm tires.

If you have 19-21mm tires that you prefer to run then your old 808s *might* be faster overall either way.

All hair splitting things here so don't sweat it whatever you do.
