So I was trying to remove the housing from the SRAM red22 bar end shifters. Wasn't exactly sure how so I opened both bolts up with Allen wrench. Inside it had 3 mini paper clip thingy, and a gear looking thing, and a copper looking ring...Would my LBS know how to build up the R2c SRAM red shifters?

This should give you an idea of how things go back together. There are three little "paperclip" pieces, one end slips into a hole and the other engages the brass gear.
There is a pdf on line that shows you how to rebuild them. Very easy. They are the same as the Zipp R2C shifters (so google for that)
