Sounds like the pawls inside the freehub are getting caught. I'd remove the cassette, take the hub body apart and grease em.

And check the bearings inside the hub and freehub body while you have it apart.

Mavic freehub body bushing is losing the plot. Sometimes a little oil does it, other times it requires replacement. Welcome to the club.
