Computer/Phone Mount For Bars
I'd like to use one of the K-Edge mounts on my bike. They seem to have a nice wide range of options for both the Wahoo and Garmin locking mount systems.

To start, I would like to just lock my phone onto it with the option of using a Garmin, Wahoo, or Lezyne computer in the future.

Does anyone know of a place to buy the quarter turn locking mechanism from the back of the computer as a stand alone part? I would like to buy a case for my Sony phone and mount it to the back of the case and use it that way for the coming summer.

Buy a $10 case from Amazon. Crazy glue the lock that fits into the locking mechanism to the back. Done.

You can DIY one pretty easily.
I bought one of these:
https://www.amazon.com/...uarter/dp/B00DPUWXYI

Then using tin snips, I cut off the non quarter turn mount side. It takes about 5 minutes.

Then I used JB Weld to attach it to a phone case specific to my phone. Let it dry overnight and it is solid as a rock.

Perfect. That is exactly what I was looking for. I'll just order a 2nd case from amazon to glue it to and I'm all set.

If you use the gps and the phone screen is always-on, you battery life may be quite limited (a couple hrs). One option is a Wahoo RFLKT ( http://www.ebay.com/...p;rt=nc&LH_BIN=1 ).

They can use a 1/4 turn mount and let you keep your phone in your jersey pocket with the screen off.
