They need to get a motor boat and mount a .50 cal on it and start shooting back. The .50 cal should take care of most local shooters. (semi-pink)

So sad that a first world country can believe that guns are an answer to anything.

Is painful to imagine that someone would be such a shithead as to send rounds towards swimmers and boaters. Makes me wonder if they correctly interpreted what they were hearing and seeing. The average person's idea of what it's like to be shot at comes from TV and movies. So what exactly did they perceive? The cracks of rounds traveling by at supersonic speeds? Little splashes? Far away bangs?

Article also states that this was during youth duck season opener. Granted shot doesn't travel that far, this could be the case.

Is your clarification something along the lines of only in: America; war torn countries; or countries run by gangs, miltary coups or with no government at all?

If not, I would be interested to hear where else this sort of thing is not uncommon.
