Never thought of listing a product on Ebay to warn people of defective/problematic products. Decent Idea. I hope potential buyers see this warning.

Did they come with the white impact marks on the side of the rim or was that from when you crashed into something?

Everyone I've talked to about these Chinese Carbon wheels has had positive experiences with them, including myself. Odd that you wouldn't.

A+ on eBay ingenuity though

I requested clarification from the seller. here what he replied:

"The white mark on the side is chalk - I labelled the rims for photos / movies to send to the seller in an attempt to warranty.
Both front and rear rims cracked in the same place (tube bed). I noticed the rear rim first after the crack caused the sidewalls to bulge outwards, and consequently overheat as they lightly rubbed the brake pads each time around during an 80km ride.

The seller acknowledged they had seen this problem on other rims too.
My warranty claim was refused until I send the rim(s) back to china. Postage from canada to china costs more than just buying another set of rims. Since both of the original rims cracked - I cannot justify spending more on what has been a 100% failure rate product"

Could be chalk, not that I have any authority but I'll allow it, carry on.

A member of my tri club has chinese carbon wheels from yoleo, front wheel was fine. Rearwheel however, upon first imspection had a hairline crack, weeks after it got worst and had to be reshipped to china for a replacement.

No harm done to the owner but quality id give it an 8/10
