Cervelo has come out with newer style seat posts but are any of the posts suitable for the older style frame. I am specifically looking for the P2 frame.

With the exception of the P5 I think all the P2/P3/P4 posts are interchangeable until you get into some of the really old, pre P2C versions

2010 is what I should have specified. I think on those you have to stick with the older versions.

Is that a P2K or a P2C? That time frame is a weird one in the P2* era as they went through P2 - P2SL - P2K - P2C - P2 Is the 2010 the one that became the P1 (aka it's aluminum)? Have you asked in the Cervelo forums?

If you get the uci adapter setup it comes with a post similar to the s5 post. Two holes. Sharp trailing edge compared to s5. Kind of a pain to use the adapter

That is not that old. Current P2/P3 and the P4 will work. They changed the seatpost head but the shaft is the same.

If I can I want to get the newer style with the single bolt Ritchey style set up so that I can run my Carbon Railed Sitero saddle. It is bloody hard sourcing the replacement parts on this frame to run carbon saddles.
Also I want to use the bracket to mount the BTS set up for the Sitero.

You could make that happen with the uci adapter and some jb weld. Serious.
Also I want to use the bracket to mount the BTS set up for the Sitero.

almost!
It will fit, but will/might slip, because the slight kamm tail on the bottom post will leave a small gap between the adapter and the post on the back side.
But you could probably fill that gap with jbweld or something and make it work.
Or maybe just use enough carbon paste and hairspray. I had that style post in my wifes p2 with that adapter for a couple days and it didn't slip.
