Yes, you did. Check the "search" link for the thread that covered this subject a few weeks ago.

Cervelo saw the new Dimond and decided their new bike was slower, so they went back to the drawing board.

Did anyone else notice that the guy with the green bike has the most fitted khakis ever?
Are skinny khakis a thing now?
Maybe they are more aero?

Levis makes their commuter series pants in khaki. I have a pair, they are skinny, and comfortable and look pretty good.

Huh.
I was actually just trying to make a joke about how tight his pants were for a dude.
Now I'm kind of interested in getting some aero khakis for myself.

Lol... So I think most people agree that beam bikes look cool, but is there a convincing argument that they are faster? The leading edge of a seat tube is way more aero than the leading edge of a rear tire... especially if you want to go fatter on the rear tire!

The only recent testing, done by Dimond, was in a tunnel with questionable accuracy and repeatability.

I think Cervelo is very data-driven, so while of course they pay attention to marketing and looks, I do not think they will go with something that is not demonstrably faster than the P5.

It makes me wonder where exactly those improvements can come from? More integrated hydration/calorie/flat kit storage? More aero crank arms? Skinnier hubs? Just guessing here.

They went metric since they are in Europe now, so that gives them 226 days to start with. 300 would only be 2-3 months late.

That'd fit a good battery for Ironman.
