Carbon steer tubes

As seen in the thread "Importance of helmets", I have one question for any of the people who have more experience with composites construction than I. I did not twist my handlebars at the steerer during impact. Should I worry about the integrity of my fork after a crash?

It's pretty simple: take the fork out of the bike, and inspect it. If it seems OK, it almost certainly is. One of the great things about composites is they very rarely have hidden, looming problems; when they break, they break (OK, there's good and bad to that...)
