Canyon Acros headset with less stack - or rebuild with conventional headset
Quote | Reply
Hi,

I have had a Canyon Ultimate Al for several years and am very happy with it. Over time my position has become lower and lower. I am now up to the point where there are no spacers under my stem anymore. However, Canyon uses a oversized (1 1/4 inch) fork tube with Acros headset. I works well but adds about 25mm in stack height.

I have seen pictures where people have a thinner version of the Acros headset, but I have not been able to find them. Does anyone have experience with this? Or has anyone converted their Canyon to a conventional headset? I have read that this is possible as well.

Slammed headset:

Cheers!

Is that a -17 degree stem?? If not... you could do that as well.

Email canyon about it. They sell the needed parts (approx 50€).
