Got an email from usat saying I qualified for nationals. I'm a bit confused, as I'm 1-a Canadian. 2- I only raced ironman events in the USA last year. Is that how I qualified?

Re: Canadian. Anyone can qualify for USAT nationals in the USAT sanctioned races in the US. Anyone can join USAT. However only US citizens are eligible for Team USA. If you finish top 18 AG you'll need to pass on that team slot. Other than that, you should go and race, if you can stand the time and money. USAT nationals are very well organized events.
Oh wait this is for 2017 in Omaha? Meh.

Congrats! One of my goals is to make it into Nationals sometime soon! You should go - it'll be a good race!
