I did not stick around but I saw that in my AG with 8 slots, at least 6 of the people above me already had one (or wouldn't have wanted one they previously qualified for) and I was the first roll down slot and I already have mine so that means there were a lot of slots to roll down.

If other AGs were like mine then I can imagine the rolls did indeed go far.

You can see how this would happen. A lot of people, like me, may have singed up for this race thinking they would get a slot here if they didn't already have one. When they got theirs elsewhere, there were then slots aplenty to roll down.
