Has anyone tried these? I tried a pair on today and liked the compression aspect but they didn't have any leg grippers and the stitching and rough hem at the leg opening seemed like it would rub you raw if you wore them for a long time.

I wore them for a 70.3 last year. I didn't know they were there. That is, I neither noticed the compression or the seams or the ventilation or the lack of grippers, or anything about them. I guess that's a good thing? I still wear them on training rides so they have lasted pretty long. They are a little high cut for my liking though so fold the waist down, but that's my only gripe. No lack of comfort issues.

I used them for IMWI last year and had zero chafing. I do end up with a funny polka dot tan on my thighs.
