Bike Trainer

I'm in the market for a wireless bike trainer. One that is light, portable and I could set up in several environments i.e. park, gym, garage etc. Don't need anything extraordinary. Resistance control, durability, wattage, and RPM display are my main buying features. Is the TACX Satori Smart my best option?

Thank you

I prefer the kinetic or cycleops trainer due to their lifetime warranties.

Are you looking for a smart trainer or portability is your main focus? Do you care about all the smart features such as power, erg mode, etc?

Portability is a must since I can’t ride in my apartment. I would be moving the trainer around to different locations. I prefer a simple smart trainer that can send wattage and rpm readings to my phone while training.

Any experience buying from Chain Reaction Cycles? Are their products reliable, ship on time, and easy with returns?

Thank you

I know you want smart and all but about three years ago I got a Nashbar branded fluid trainer. Takes a while to warm up but it's cheap and reliable. Also folds up small enough to fit under the bed easily.

I still lapped everyone on the couch!
